Dear American,
Imagine walking into a place devasted by a magnitude-seven earthquake. Bodies are lying heavily scattered on the grounds, while others find themselves rambling desperatley in a state of shock. With a death toll of over 150,000 and people left with no food, water or medicines and treatment for injuries, the circumstances in which Haiti is found are inconcievable.
Although ardous work is required in order to help Haiti, these hard times will hopefully be healed thanks to the generosity of many. Living in a country of great opportunities it is a humanitary duty to give a helping hand. Donations can be made through various organizations therefore their are no excuses besides utter selfishness and a lack of compassion.
In hopes of a better future for the people of Haiti I encourage individuals who have a caring heart to make donations in order to assure the lives of thousands. Remember that a small contribution is better than total disregard.
Sincerely,
A Concerned Neighbor
